This module provides specialist training in the assessment of permanent impairment of the urinary and reproductive systems in accordance with Sections 6.250 to 6.252 of the NSW Motor Accident Guidelines: Permanent Impairment (the Guidelines) and Chapter 11 of the American Medical Association's Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, Fourth Edition (AMA4). Participants will develop an understanding of the principles, processes and methodologies used to assess urinary and reproductive system impairment arising from motor crash injuries.

Designed for health practitioners seeking authorisation and listing as Permanent Impairment Assessors in the NSW CTP scheme, this module provides a systematic approach to assessing urinary and reproductive system impairment using the Guidelines and AMA4. Participants will learn how to assess impairments affecting the kidneys, ureters, bladder, urethra and reproductive organs, determine whole person impairment (WPI), and apply key assessment principles through practical case studies and examples.

Successful completion of this module, together with successful completion of the Core Module, contributes to eligibility for listing as a CTP Permanent Impairment Assessor for urinary and reproductive system impairment assessments in NSW.
